ladyjulian
Beloved Cohab and I are starting to get bored scrubbing egg out of pans - we love scrambled egg at the weekend, but we only have 1 non-stick pan and that's a Wilko's own brand and isn't very good. However carefully I scramble the eggs, I can't seem to stop them sticking like eggy glue to the pans. Any recommendations?
Cinnamon
The John Lewis own range of non stick ware is very good. However,I do leave them to soak in hot water with some fairy, then put them through the dishwasher
abwsco
I've got Pro Cook pro anodised pans and they don't need any soaking to get anything off. Can't go in the DW though.
kerryegg
I would suggest the most expensivenon stick pan you can afford or use a glass bowl and time carefully in the micowave. Remove before ready to allow for the continued cooking.I used my Le Creusat pan once, think I had to soak it for a week!
Geoid
The Le Creuset non stick pan are brilliant, but they are quite pricey. Also, don't put them through the dishwasher, as it can damage the non stick.
Lewis
Don't know if it'd work for this, but whenever we burn something in the bottom of a pan, mother boils some Coke in there + it comes off easily
ladyjulian
Thanks all! We don't have a dishwasher (well, not of the mechanical type ) so dishwasher-safe isn't an issue. I love the look of the Pro Cook stuff!
