Janty
At the moment I have 3 broody LF brahmas 1broody pekin 2 with scaly leg mite in isolation 1 frizzle pekin with a bald back - I've sprayed her with Johnson's anti mite stuff but my suspicions lie with the silver partridge pekin who I caught treading my lavender pekin last week I have run out of eglus, runs & cages if anything else happens. Little madams!

Space Chick
Blimey Jan, and I thought it was bad enough that I am having a broody cage relay, yesterday the baton was passed to Grace from Peri
Seagazer
It does feel like everything goes wrong at once sometimes doesn't it. I had a minor chicken overload during the week. You have my sympathy and best wishes that they all get better.
Janty
Sounds like you need another eglu and run I was thinking that. I'm going to bring up the subject of another short quail run with hubby tonight...watch this space! Mind you, he said yes straight away even before I'd really asked about the last one. Today, I put a shortened eglu run that I bought from a forum member up against the cube run (inside the WIR). The eglu run has got Toyah and Delia inside after repeated treatments of scaly leg lotion and doses of ivermectin. The dog crate has Falcon, one of the broody brahmas in. Gallena, the broody pekin in in a cat basket and the other broodies are in the eglus.
