Nacktschnecken omlet Cube

I have just ringed my pekin chicks, as I couldn't tell them apart & wanted to name them. I have the clip rings in lovely colours. They are 8mm - should these be ok? The one with the green leg ring is very proud of its new leg wear!

Not sure if this helps... our SLight Sussex chicks, who are just over 6 weeks old, are moving from 10mm to 12mm now, and they'll need to move again in a couple of weeks,

 

There is a guide on the Interhatch website...it's not possible to link because it's in their downloadable catalogue (not on a webpage). I've extracted the relevant bit and credited interhatch, so I hope it's OK to post this.

I used flat size 3's (8mm) last time and they were fine for a few weeks.

 

Have ordered some 8mm clip ones for these lot, and it said they'll be fine for day-olds

Thank goodness I got it right. I'll change them for 11mm ones in 3 or so weeks. It's nice that I can name them now & remember who is who.

 

Chick count...5 lavender /lavender cuckoo pekins ( green, red, lumo yellow, pink, purple rings) & one Millefleur chick hatched by Button today - called Beanie. Last egg also pipped.
