Redwing Posted April 29, 2010 Share Posted April 29, 2010 Dont worry, some people order specific eggs and still dont know what has hatched (I hatched a gold laced orpington from a 'Silkie' egg ) Sadly I cant see the pic as my work computer restricts pics but will take a look later for you Most 'unknown' chicks seem to have Silkie in them (head tufts are a giveaway) I think Silkie cockerels must be quite adept at getting in to pens that arent theirs Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The mix was silkies, leghorns, cochins and orpingtons, cream legbars and naked necks. I can't remember the others.
