Mollie333
Ok so today i put out a plate of muesly and water mixed in.. the silkies pecked out all the raisions and even was stealing out the other birds beak! then they jumped on the plate and tipped it up! all over the floor! then scratched around some more. THEN! Just as i was cracking up for what they was doing - Pat my 9 week old silkie grabbed a raision out of cheryls mouth! It was unbelivable! this little cutie standing up too my great 19 pound turkey! i can tell shes going to be a madam. she still chirps like a chick- its so cute! I left my chickens in the hands of my neighbour last night, there supost to be put in a 7:00-8:00 ish, but when i came home, all the coope doors were open, no sight of the chickens around (obvoiously not been put away) I looked in the coopes, The pekins and pekin x silkies (Pilkes) wre askleep in there normall housing, then i checked in the big girls shed, Cheryl was asleep in the nesting box (she does have roosing bars, shes gone broody on us ) SAT on top of Pat, and peggy was lying on her back. It was absolutly adorable. but the two red hybrids betty and rita didn't like this at all. so we had to remove the two silkie girls and let the red hybrids have some peace! So im proud that the girls ut themselves to bed, but they just got a little confused about where to go. Cheryl also now follows the silkies around, pat is so small compared to cheryl, such a beauty! this next picture is of cheryl, at 6:00am at the back door!
