I think my ladies would enjoy having a dust bath and I've got a suitable tray kicking around - what do I put *in* it though? Sand? In other news, Artemis and Athene explored the garden for the very first time today and ate out of my hand! It was sort of tickly and I liked it They are *loving* dandelions. Mollie333 Posted May 4, 2010 Share Posted May 4, 2010 My chickens free range, and just dust bathe in either my neighbours fire (expecially cheryl ) or in the grass heep, which they find bugs in, or dry mud near the trees. i haven't got a 'man made' dustbathe.
