patsylabrador
I've been watching a dear little robin for a few days. She sits on the bird table, relaxing and eating a bit. She looks exhausted, and appears to be resting. Today I saw two chicks near her. Just having a break I guess. I love this time of year with all the babies. Sheilaz
How lovely, she must be glad of your bird table. I'm really enjoying the birdsong in our garden this year, at dawn and dusk, it's so cheery & active. As well as the regulars, we have several long tailed tits which are great to watch. Redwing
There are so many babies about this year, most of them seem to be trapped in my greenhouse and unable to find the open door
Christian
Was on the phone earlier and was asked if I now owned a parrot The garden birds are so loud at the moment! We have blue tits and blackbirds nesting in the garden. The robin must be nesting close by, but not sure where.
Daphne
I looked out of the bathroom window the other day to see 2 sparrows mating on a branch just a couple of feet away. He hopped on twice, but at the third attempt she harrumphed and moved off!
Egluntyne
The dawn chorus here is deafening at the moment. No chance of a lie in.
