I have wood chip in run which I rake and poo pick daily and change when I feel it needs. I read somewhere re garden lime - do I rake this in and will it harm girls - cant find thread. Ta everso Ali

I use it. I occasionally mix it into the Aubiose in the run if it has got wet (raining diagonally) and it gets a bit whiffy. It is only calcium carbonate so won't harm the hens.

 

I don't go mad with it.

 

I also sprinkle it around their ranging area from time to time, to sweeten the ground.

Thanks - I dont have auboise but will mix a bit into their wood mix. I knew and expert would be a long soon.
