hmm I have a loofah that I never use

the think is I wash my sponges in the washing machine, would a loofah be reusable like that

You could grow your own Loofah - they sell the seeds all over the place now.

 

Then you'd have plenty and wouldn't need to worry about whether you could wash them

I used to have a loofah, and no matter how much you wash them, they start to smell

Hartley has a bizarre fixation with sponges and cloths - she gathers them under the bed, and sleeps on them (she does have a lovely cat bed provided for her), and chews the sponges. I wonder if she would chew loofahs as well....
