Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Am I the only one who bartered with my husband in order to get chickens? I got chickens, he got Hillman Imps.

4 chickens - 4 Imps. I know, crazy. I got the better part of the deal, lovely girls and wonderful eggs. I do have to put up with "Ooops, word censored!"py old cars around the place...He's fixing them....honest....

Please tell me I am not the only nutter out there.

A motorbike - he's going through his midlife crisis

 

To be fair when he said he wanted a big flat screen telly I said we needed to extend the house. Its his favourite joke to tell friends etc.

I let him buid an amphibious car made out of an old Range Rover in his garage

I agreed to it (it was HIS idea!) if he poo picked and cleaned them out. I don't think he's ever done it and only does the "get up early to let the girls out" thing about once a fortnight I get fed up waiting for him to get up in the mornings so fling the duvet off and THEN he yawns "I was about to get up to let the girls out..."

 

I've been had! What should I have asked for??? Is it too late?

Kev wanted the chickens - I suppose I got my erm, shoes, crafty stuff, handbags,

 

ill think of something

 

(we got a flat screen tv when Kev gave up smoking - was paid for in 6 months of his non-smokingness )

No eggs for breakfast, but the chooks laid 1 hybrid and 1 bantam.
