Guest
I have a broody sitting on 3 duck eggs. I have a shed but it has 6 week old pekin hens in it at the moment and i am getting 2 more next week. I am thinking of putting a seperation half way down the shed and moving my Marsh Daisy's in the half without the pekins so they can see them but can't get to them. The problem is Betty is the broody sussex and I know from problems before them 2 being seperated just makes both of them depressed. Bob does go broody a few days after Betty and Betty is perfectly fine having bob sitting on her in the day or night. Question is if Bob goes broody do you think I should nick and egg from Betty so they are together because when betty is out in the run Bob is estatic she wont leave her side but when Betty goes back to the eggs Bob just sits in a few places all day but she will wonder up to what the MD's are doing and join in. Im new at this.
