Martin B
Sorry about that, I was just fuming last night. I'm not going to re-word it because that's how I felt last night. It's what everyone else was thinking, but just didn't want to say.

chelsea
Martin, I havent commented as I do not want to stir up any more. But if you insist I respond....... As I said last night, I didnt not see anything wrong with the match, no less or more diving than you'll see in any other match with any other team I have heard of no controversy on the radio today or on sky sports regarding last nights match.....there was no "liverpool misses penalty" no "leg breaking tackles" no one sent off. Ref had a pretty good game. Just read the report on the game in the sun sport pages and they HATE chelsea and said we were "derserved winners"....nothing in there about diving or cheating As for saying we should be thrown out of the CL and/or our players should have life bans that is absurd I still think Liverpool are in a great position. Im not overly confident in chelsea winning at Anfield anyway....so you probably will get your wish.

Chelsea 2 v 1 Bolton, Man City 1 v 2 Aston Villa Wolverhampton 2 v 1 QPR "Ooops, word censored!"nal 2 v 1 Fulham Any other wacky games then I think the score will be 2-1 to the hometeam! chelsea
LOL Love your way with words Helen. ("gimmers") the ear trumpet would be the accessory of the season on the seafront too then?!
gooner.girl
Yes Chelsea! Can just imagine him shuffling along Clacton Pier, ear trumpet in hand - "Eh? Eh? Whats that you say?!" Noone will know he's not a local... Actually - I can't be too rude - we're going on a chicken rescue Saturday, he might just see it as an oppourtunity to get revenge! - YOU can be rude though Chelsea!!! I'll be avoiding him anyway cos he'll be in a bad mood after Bolton have lost to your lot!
chelsea
Ah. That should be great. You'll have a great day im sure Im expecting Bolton to be pants - because in all my past prediction games I have voted in confidence in them by predicting them to win.....and they havent they've been pants (sorry Phil).... but sure as eggs are eggs,.....because Chelsea need the points and I have predicted chelsea to win on the omlet table...then Bolton will probably be brilliant/outstanding etc and win... Louise
It is and I know someone who was asked if she knew what one was in an interview for a receptionist position in a vet diagnostic lab so that when the farmer phoned up saying he had a problem with one of his gimmers the person on the phone would understand what he meant
Guest
Mmmm... an old gimmer is a ewe past her lamb-bearing days (I just looked it up!!) or alternatively, an old git!! thanks Martin for posting the fixtures while i was away - I'll leave it at those four.. sorry to have missed the post L'pool/Chelsea ding-dong - we were in a caravan and didn't have Sky - so couldn't watch the game.. I wanted a chelsea win (old L'pool dislike explained elsewhere!) - but I wanted it to be a tough and bruising game that sapped chelsea's strength and weakened them for Saturday!! not sure if it was or not - no significant injuries - and, as Chels rightly points out, Bolton are pants at the moment - so I'm not expecting three points on saturday!! For a Villa fan (allegedly) Martin sure does get steamed up whenever L'pool are about.. methinks he protesteth too much!! Phil

Sheilaz
Mmmm... an old gimmer is a ewe past her lamb-bearing days (I just looked it up!!) or alternatively, an old git!!.......... Not that I should be laughing, being a bit close to both descriptions myself. Just wondering, your highness, wherefore art thou predictions then? Or, are you saving the best 'til last? Or, am I more confused than I thought & I've missed them?
