chelsea
I still don't understand why OH hates Liverpool so much, though he has tried to explain it. I think its cos he's an old gimmer and remembers them when they were all good and smug in the 80's. A bit like Man.U were in the 90's... People of a certain age either love or hate Liverpool eh Chelsea?! yeah... people of a certain age!! those of us who can remember.. 1. how utterly smug Liverpool were in the 70s 2. how they were (and still are) such media darlings 3. how their fans are always trumpeted as the best in the world don't get me started!!! Phil BRAVO Phil, Bravo And yes, they are media darlings arent they.....I think steven gerrard is a good player - but I cannot understand why he's in the player of the year award .....mmm.. maybe because the FA love him and cant bear to leave him out, he's been average this season - hasnt got that many goals and they are way behind in the league.....if it wasnt for their CL heights their season would be a disaster as ususal One person who I cannot stand and have to turn over when I see him is PHIL THOMPSON Why they have him as a pundit on sky I do not know - he's so incredibly biased to the 'pool. Guest
I put it down to age discrimination. I'll never get a bonus point, because I'm 15. Mmmmm.... you know what Martin?? I was kind of only half serious - you've made my mind up for me! there will be a bonus point for the best caption (in my judgement!) - it will be the one that makes me laugh or smile most! (I won't be entering!) the point will be awarded along with the weekend prediction points.. plenty of time to get your thinking caps on - and you can enter as many times as you like... gooner.girl
What an awesome stadium! Shame we lost..... That stadium is just amazing! Makes Molineux look very pedestrian (no comments)... No comments about Molineux Dan... I have never been there -Whats it like? Is it an old stadium? Is it city centre or outside the town? Do you go to games much these days? Ashburton Grove (still struggle to call it The Emir**es! ) IS fab, though the sentimental part of me wishes we were still at Highbury... gooner.girl
Ever make the top flight Dan?! I think maybe we'll have to wait for us to draw you in the cup then... Looks a nice stadium actually, and great you didn't have to relocate. The best thing about "Ooops, word censored!"nals new ground is its so near Highbury! Looney
Hello everyone, Heading off at 8am today for a long weekend so won't be around to do any predictions.........erm, perhaps someone could randomly stick some results next to the games for me? Only kidding, think I will have to miss this week. I could try and find who is playing but that would actually involve looking at some kind of football related website which is something that I have avoided doing so far! Have a fab weekend all, I'm having to wear a delightful pinky red bridesmaid frock for my friend's wedding tomorrow....happy to lend it to the prediction princess afterwards! Guest
Some woeful predicting this week!!! Dan top-scored with three - but "Ooops, word censored!"ody else really deserves a mention - except maybe Annie, Chelsea and Lorna (who was done no favours by Carys!!) all getting a big FAT ZERO!!! The top stays the same - Helen equaling Phil's 2 with a bonus point for the best Nolan caption.. so the table is as follows... Phil 60 Helen 58 Annie 54 Chelsea 52 Lorna 50 Dan 47 Martin 39 Emma 38 and Princess Phil is as surprised as anyone still to be top!!! Emma - not sure you need worry about what the prize is just yet - though if you can overtake martin, that'll be summat!! Phil
