The Dogmother
This will make you laugh.... I popped to see a friend at the weekend, and her stunning Welsummer cockerel had managed to escape from the pen and was racing around the yard ravishing any hen he could get to stand still long enough As always happens in that sort of situation, some customers turned up with young children. Small boy: 'Excuse me Miss, what's that hen doing to the other one?' Jude: 'Erm, ask your father' Father: 'They are playing leapfrog' Small boy: 'We play that at school, but we don't bite necks like that'! I was trying so hard not to laugh that I had to walk away snorting. I suspect that said cockerel's days are numbered if he won't stay in his pen.
