hippy chick
I have just noticed that my 16 week old Black Rock has got white worms in her poop. Is it safe to worm her with Flubenvet or is she too young? Thanks Jilly

hippy chick
Thanks, I have decided to put the flube on treats and give a bit to each hen. Last time i dosed them they knocked the feeder over and I had to redo it all They are such messy eaters!
Space Chick
I would personally advise against the treat method, as you are overloading their systems with intense worming, then nothing. They get it more gradually with food. If your girls are really messy add a tiny bit more to compensate. It won't harm, particularly as you know there is a worm load present. Then repeat in 4 weeks rather than 3 months to ensure they are worm free
Chucky Mama
I would agree with Space Chick. You should follow the manufacturers dosing instructions. This ensures the wormer is in their digestive system all day for 24 hours and will kill all worms. There have been reports of chickens with worms being evident again within a short period in those who have used the grape method.
