snaps Posted April 15, 2007 Share Posted April 15, 2007 At this time of year I always leave the eglu door open a little so Lupin and Clover can let themselves out into the run as early as they like. I've been wondering for ages why sometimes they get out and sometimes they don't - and it didn't seem to have any bearing on weather or how ajar the door was. This morning they weren't up but there was lots of scrabbling and squawking going on so I opened the door a tad more to find their frantic efforts were getting them nowhere because they were pushing against each other and against the door instead of one of them sensibly using her beak to push it open.
