kerryegg
My existing ones apart from the Le Creusat have just about had it. Would like non stick, blue if possible and decent handles, ideally dish washer safe. I think blue may be a wish too far but any advice would be appreciated.Thanks. WitchHazel
Hi Kerry If you are looking for dishwasher safe and non stick, then I would recommend Meyer Circulon Infinite (be careful, there are several ranges with similar names, and only the Infinite is hard anodised and dishwasher safe) They are occasionally available in the Debenhams sale, and it can be worth waiting for this as the price reduces dramatically (especially on sets) Don't forget that if you go through Quidco to Debenhams you'll get cashback as well, and you can usually get a code for free delivery. I did once see them at BHS online (not instore) at a fantastuially reduced price, and again there was something like 8% cashback through Quidco on top. whoopsie
I have one casserole dish from Stellar and covet a whole set! Not blue but fabulous pans.
kerryegg
Many thanks Witch Hazel. I have been looking at the Circulon range for some time but put off by the price. However after your advice thought I'd go for it and guess what? Bhs, cheapest and free postage and today £21 discount. Excellent. Ordered 4 piece set for £84.RR £300. Three saucepans and a pan. Can't wait to chuck my old ones into the Hospice metal re-cycling. Again what a great forum for us chicken folk.
WitchHazel
If it's the set I'm thinking of, it has a large " everyday pan" with it. I've found this excellent for preparing anything that needs frying then cooking in a sauce (eg mince. casseroles). The pans are oven safe up to gas mark 9, which is fantastic too as you can start them on the hob and then just pop the whole hing in the oven. I can't believe you got four pans for £84! When you look at somewhere like the House of Fraser website, the 16cm saucepan (the smallest pan with a lid) on its own is £62! Well done, I hope you like them. moochoo
I've got a set from Anulon. Hard anodised coating, very non stick and easy to clean. I put mine in the dishwasher with no adverse effects. I've had mine about 8 years and are as good as the day I bought them.
chicken bark
I've got the Meyer Anolon range. My older ones are not dishwasher safe although after having them for a number of years I have now been putting them in. If you buy them now then the range is dishwasher safe. They are brilliant and they are a lovely charcoal grey colour - not blue I am afraid.
