stoice
Does anyone have a pair of these? Are they generous in the calf dept? (Most wellies don't fit me and i currently have some boring green short wellies at the mo as they were the only ones I could fit my legs in ) Thanks guys
Calamity Jane
ooooh they look nice. I have very wide calves and have difficulty getting ordinary wellies to fit, so I would be interested to hear what others say as well. I like the red ones !!!! Lesley
There was a past thread on wellies and 'generous calves' a while ago............ I wear the ordinary Crocs Wellies and they are perfect for my fat calves - and lightweight, so they're easy to walk in.
stoice
I remember that thread too Lesley, although I couldn't find it, I wasn't sure these boots were around when that thread was going so i started a new one. I'd tried on the normal croc boots, they weren't 'normal' height for a welly either (Although they were fab) so was just wondering if anyone had any opinion on these. (I'm thinking of lots of beachy, puddly walks with the pooch, you see, and would like some water proof crocs that come higher up my leg)
Cinnamon
This has spurred me on to find some fat leg wellies myself,& I Googled these. I have bought the spot ones, which come in a pack with a nice storage bag & welly warmers http://www.jileon.com/wide_fit_wellies_wider_wellingtons.html
quickcluck
I have normal croc wellies and lurve them, couldn't be without them and use them pretty much all year round with the chooks! they are super light weight, mega comfy and keep my feet really warm in the winter! The Dogmother
I saw those new Croc wellies recently and didn't think that they looked as wide as the originals. They look a bit slimmer all over.
Griffin
I've got normal Croc wellies and they fit my sturdy legs and are incredibly comfortable Mine are bright yellow I don't like the look of the new ones, they do look narrow.
The Dogmother
I prefer the styling of the whole new Crocs range, but that's just my taste. Lesley will laugh at this... I just bought The Boy a pair of black Crocs to wear in my garden; it's too much of a faff to put his wellies on, so he goes out in whatever he has on his feet and then traipses mud back through the house... now, I'm not houseproud, but it does annoy me. Plus I can leave them for when the neighbour looks after the house and animals for us - he's another mud-traipser The Boy hates Crocs

The Dogmother
I doubt it! He just wore them in the garden for the first time and didn't complain, although they do look like boats in his enormous size 10s
Cinnamon
This has spurred me on to find some fat leg wellies myself,& I Googled these.I have bought the spot ones, which come in a pack with a nice storage bag & welly warmers http://www.jileon.com/wide_fit_wellies_wider_wellingtons.html Just a word of warning about these, which arrived today. The Wellies are nice & they fit my legs well, but they are sent with standard fit welly warmers, which,as they are sold as a package for larger legs,is just ridiculous. I am arguing this out with the company at the moment, who are not only reluctant to refund the £5.99 postages they charged me to send them to me,but also the cost its going to cost me to return the whole lot to them
