Jossy
Hi everyone. Please help.... My friend gave me a marrow and I don't know what to do with it. I'm sure somone will know of a nice recipe, I want to cook it with the kids at the weekend... Thanks in advance,
Lesley
Hmmmmmmm - probably the best thing to do with kids! - roast them! Sorry........couldn't resist..... Cut it in half and scoop out the seeds or cut thick slices and scoop the seeds out - fill with either a cheesy/tomatoey vegetable rice mix or a mince and onions type filling and roast until the marrow is soft and cooked. scarlettohara
As Lesley said fill it with a bolognese type filling, grate cheese on the top and pop in oven (you might need to add cheese after a while as you need the marrow to get really soft)
