I have a heap of beautiful little red chillies,many more than I will use up right now.

 

Hows best to store them.....can I dry them & crumble them maybe,or pickle them somehow?

To store them you can do numerous things:

 

make ristras with them if large enough to dry them plus really decorative

freeze them

pickle them or add them to what ever you are pickling eg onions

make chilli flavoured oils and vinegars even flavour liguors

make powders, sauces etc

I dry mine in a food dehydrator - well away from people though as the resulting air can be a bit stingy on the eyes.

I always freeze chillis as I don't use them very often and there's always more in the supermarket packets than I can use quickly.

 

They freeze brilliantly.
