There has been a widespread ground frost and -3oc temperatures forecast for my area tonight.

 

Last weekend I planted out Cauliflower and Cabbage plants in a raised bed. Do I need to cover them with fleece tonight? I would hate to lose them.

They would probably be ok, depending if they had been hardened off or not. I would, however, throw some fleece over to be on the safe side.

I would cover them in fleece or even an old netcurtain, just to be on the safe side

We had a very light frost this morning on our raised beds.

 

Luckily the plants are still covered with cloches
