poachedegg
Well, after first saying I wouldn't have a WIR, then after lots of umming and aarging - we've ordered a 18 x 6 x 6 WIR. Chris at BAY has answered soooo many questions that I've thrown at him, I think he thinks I'm a bit loopy! It is going to be on soil, with the timber being tanalised, it shouldn't be a problem, he is going to put stakes in to stabilise the run, a hatch for egg collecting (Cube is going in the run), a sloping corrugated roof and a mesh skirt all the way round the bottom AND he's going to build it for us. Looking towards the end of September to have it done.

Mercedes55
Sounds like it's going to be fabulous I don't think you can beat having a WIR. Of all the things we have bought that has been the best investment as I now feel my girls have lots of space and they are also safe and can spend all day in there if they need to. It's also bliss to go under cover and do a poo pick every day and just know that their run is clean and doesn't smell nasty

hopetofinish
My hubby finished putting our WIR from Bay Animal Housing today. Just the roof to go. Really pleased with it. Just the cube to come, which hopefully will be on Thursday as I have reserved my chooks to pick up on Saturday
