alij
In March I hatched some ebay bantam faverolle eggs.....and one was definitely NOT a faverolle. This is Winnie, the only thing I know is that she is now a he If anyone knows what he is please tell me... He's almost 6 months old, no spurs growing and not crowing ...yet
Goosey Lucy
What is Winnie? Lovely! At a guess, Derbyshire Redcap - have a look at the picture in the breeds section. http://www.omlet.co.uk/breeds/breeds.php?breed_type=Chickens&breed=Derbyshire+Redcap Can you contact the ebay seller for what other breeds they had? alij
That does look very similar to Winnie doesn't it? I've tried contacting the seller but no luck. Out of the six eggs, all hatched, 4 bantam faverolle girls, one fav boy and then Winne I have been kidding myself he is a 'she' but don't think I can do that much longer.. alij
I'm hoping to keep him but already have 1 serama and 2 Jap cockerals, so will have to see how noisy he is. Have just found another picture which looks just like him and is a pullet breeding Gold Partridge Wyandotte....could he be that?
Mr Rhode Island Red
I'm not an expert on breeds, keep that in mind he looks a bit like a brahma cockerel
