Happy chickens!
On Monday got the news that my favourite Uncle had passed away - had been planning to visit Tuesday. ( Had visited last month and made birthday cake last week, but would have liked to see one more time) On Thursday got phone call from school, YS had broken arm badly, ambulance on the way. Thought how on earth can they be sure his arm is broken..... well if an arm looks like a banana it is broken for sure! Needed op to put 'nails' in both radius and ulna. Never liked rugby much, now I know why! OH has old back problem flaring up, OS has plantar fasciatis (sp?!) Even the chickens aren't laying much!! Tomorrow will be a better day! x
Olly
Oh no! These things all come at once, don't they. I'm sorry to hear about your uncle. Here's hoping for a good weekend - sounds as if a bit of TLC is in order for you, if you're not too busy running round after invalids that is. CatieB
And me. You are not alone My bad week started when I had to be somewhere really important and got caught up in the tail back of a hiddeous traffic accident.A number of bad things have happened through out the week and work has been terrible with very stressful incidents. Then I come full circle to find out tonight that my best friend had been involved in bad a traffic accident today. Whilst she is ok physically the other party is not. Doesnt life deal some odd cards. I'm trying to keep it in perspective. Big hugs to you x

Happy chickens!
Just wanted to say thanks for all the kind thoughts - sorry didn't reply earlier I did read them even if I didn't reply. Hope those of you who have had a rough time too are in calmer waters now. YS is back at school and doing fine; we go back to hosp tomorrow and hopefully will get a full cast on then which will be better - though school are being very helpful, he gets to leave lessons early so that he can avoid the crush in the corridors. I'm not enjoying the school run much though - they usually cycle, but that's not going to be on the cards for a while.
