Hi

Just like to share my current disappointment with Omlet's service. I ordered a winter shade for my rabbit eglu around 3 weeks ago and specified exact postage insructions in the box that Omlet provide for you in the payment screen asking the postman to put the item in our bin shed. Yet on delivery the item was not put in there as Omlet had not transferred the instructions to Royal Mail, so I had to go and get the package a week later (I work when the delivery office is open).

I then open the product and place on the Eglu - and even though I was disappointed at the quality of the product I was happy for the buns to have a new cover.

3 days later, it was mildly windy and 2 of the bungees snapped, another 1 snapping the week after. I contacted Omlet and they were very happy to replace the broken ones, however I did wonder what I would do when all of them had eventually snapped in the wind.

Slightly dissatisfied with the product, I wrote a review voicing this as I believe it to be my right to have my say on what I think of the product. Once I had written the review I saw a message saying 'Your review will be posted in a few days'. A few days later, no review. A week later, no review. A week and a half later, I emailed Omlet asking why my review had not been published. No reply. 3 weeks later (no review) I receive an email asking me to review the product I have bought. I email Omlet re-explaining the situation and again, enquiring as to why my review had not been published. No reply.

It does seem convenient that all the reviews of this particular product are fantastic, and I can't help thinking that my review isn't the only average/bad review that hasn't been published.

If you are going to give customers the option to review your products Omlet, you have to at least accept that not all reviews will be good and that it is your responsibility as a company to give browsers of the shop a whole and complete set of reviews of the product they are going to pay for. It is just good customer service.

Regards

Catherine

I have just skimmed through the 175 reviews for the Winter Shade, and they are mixed, to say the least, so I'm sure that the fact that yours hasn't appeared yet is simply due to them not getting round to adding it.

The reviews for the summer shade are worse so your argument doesnt really hold water - perhaps its worth looking at reviews before purchasing something...

In saying that I have about ten Omlet shades none of which have broken or torn - one is about five years old now!

for shelter (as opposed to shade) I always use corrugated plastic sheets or clear shower curtains - they let more light in
