daxigirl
Big well done to Paxo who after much trumpeting and fanfare has laid her first egg. Lovely blue colour 38g nice hard shell arrived at 14:10 today. Â (Just imagine what I'd be like if it was a baby. )

daxigirl
Pax has laid her second egg a very respectable 58g 1st Oct. I think I shall keep a tally chart for them. She seems to like to s"Ooops, word censored!"e all the bedding out first, is this normal. I did then see her putting some bits on her back before she came back out too. chickanne
I find my girlies throw out then rearrange the bedding every time I change it. This is usually accompanied by lots of strutting and huffing just before egg laying. Perhaps I should give them the hose and brush and they can do they whole changeover themselves??
