daxigirl
Would love to go, but I'm going to look (read not come home empty handed) at the one in Southampton tonight. Really would like something white. Got some "yellow leg" babies so thought it would be an ideal time to add another one before intros to "black leg" big girls. daxigirl
Damn I could have got you to get me a something white and he could have brought her down. The bird auction in Southampton was aviary type birds, with some rabbits and guinea pigs. Thought I'd better not stay because I wouldn't be able to resist if the little guinea pigs failed to sell and were homeless I'm a sucker like that. You could always do the I've bought this for my birthday from you trick, normally works with my brother (Its in a village hall in the New Forest, jct 2 off the M27 SO40 2NZ Pollards Moor Road) next one is 15th Oct. Blue-DiamondChick07
Please check over your Hens carefully, I know a few people taking sick birds to auction although, I'm not sure they'll get away with that - are the birds checked by a vet or something?
