Only 2 sleeps to go till comes. It's stopped raining today and looks like being nice out so my plan is to move the off the base & change the bark and have a clean up.

 

I've seen a gazebo on offer in Robert Dyas so will go and get one in readiness for next summer, it will be just the right size to go over the top. (It will also help keep the Omlet man dry when he's building on Monday).

 

My other query is what do I put in the nest box? Now Paxo has started laying she s"Ooops, word censored!"es all the bedding out only to sit on the hard plastic? Currently using bliss.

I put Easibed in the nest box as this is what I use in the WIR. The only down side of this is that I find it falls through the hole in the nest box, I have not yet found a satisfactory solution to this problem yet.

 

Make sure you charge the camera ready for Monday, hope the sun shines for you.

I've got a piece of that k"Ooops, word censored!"bly plastic drawer liner from ikea cut to size and popped in the nest box. This seems to keep the bedding in.

I've a piece of rubber car mat that works well. You can use anything in the nestbox as bedding except hay

Ok I'm all set. Really can't think of anything else to do (except maybe for a dry day). Told the black leggers about their new penthouse and the yellow leggers about their move into the eglu. Think I'll make some cake for the Omlet man. ONE SLEEP TO GO.
