We were getting worried about the wood chip being wet all the time and causing problems with the hens feet. We have the Omlet Sun covers, but these cut out the light. A little bit of searching on the internet and I discovered this company;

The 2m x 3m is perfect for us because we have a Cube + two extensions, making the run 3m in length. We just took the bungees off of the sun shades and fitted them to the tarpaulin. I think this is a better option than shower curtains as it has securing eyelets all the way round, so simple and easy to fit and remove. For smaller runs the tarpaulin could be cut or folded as required. It has a nice fitted look to it as well. Or if you had a 2m run you could wrap the cover completely over it, just leaving the Door End open to the elements.

I've just bought one to go on my (pink eglu) 3m run in Kent only it has been pinched to go on the (cube pink) +1 extension bit, the girls are loving being sheltered and dry in this lousy weather. Will have to get another one for Bolkins in time for Christmas. Your right it was so easy to just reuse the bungies to hold it in place, no scary flapping in the wind.
