miffy
I have just been on a 4 day visit trip to London with my sister. We discovered the Wallace Collection in Manchester Square.....lots of fab pics, furniture and brilliant exhibition of drawings from scotland....we know nothing about art but the written guides were very good. I really recomend a visit.
sadietoo
The Wallace Collection is really lovely isn't it? I went about two or three years ago after a recommendation from another friend. AS well as the art, it also has a lot of french porcelain which is very beautiful . It's very enjoyable place to spend a few hours, and there is a restaurant there too if you want to eat (although I have to say we didn't because the prices were a bit and we usually nearly always go to the lovely Carluccio's in St Christopher's Place behind Selfridges).
