Biker Chick
I was thinking about going and seeing Meatloaf.....saw him live about 25 years ago and he was awesome, a real showman BUT bit concerned that he is a lot older now (aren't we all ) Not too sure that he could put on such an excellent show now, but who knows!!! Mrs Webmuppet
I saw Meatloaf many years ago at the NEC ( in the 80's) it was most excellent and very very loud. I think it was the Bad Attitude tour. There were several scantily clad ladies on the stage who he chased around rather a lot.I thinkk I still have the program somewhere
ElvisFan
Why do we buy programmes, I have loads from concerts I went to in the 80's and I don't think I have ever looked at it, I went to the Elvis concert in Feb (big screen and film not the real thing propped up ) and they didn't have any programmes but they did have a pack of cards for £8?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!! - which I didn't buy. On the meatloaf subject, I went to see him years ago and my sister came to pick me up and she was outside in the car park and could here the encoure almost word for word, I think these were the days before health and safely said we have to keep the noise down ! Snowy
I haven't seen Meatloaf, but would love to! The last time he was on at the NEC, we booked tickets, but he cancelled at the last minute Got our money back and went to see Motorhead instead. Loud? You haven't heard loud until you hear Motorhead When they started playing the first song I put my fingers in my ears to make it more bearable. When that song finished, the lead singer (Lemmy?) said (screamed) "Lets make it louder!" And they did I'm so glad we had seats right at the back! Valkyrie
Oh fabulous! Never been to a show, but I think he is so well suited to the music - can't imagine anyone else performing it either. I do hope you enjoy yourself.
