Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Maya my Blue Frizzle Polish looks terrible.

She has been all fluffed up in the run for 2 days now.

 

I've brought her in cause i thought she might be cold.. And she is now in my jumper snuggled up, sleeping. I don't know what to do.

 

Her airway is clear and eyes seem fine. I don't know what it could be.. Please help.

Heck Mollie are her droppings ok? Have you considered a soft egg

You are doing the right thing by bringing her inside. Just keep her warm and make sure that she is eating and drinking.

Don't delay in taking her to the vet if she doesn't perk up. Some Polish hens seem to be inbred and can be delicate. We've lost two this way

I thought soft egg, but shes not started laying yet.

 

Shes gone into the coop with the others (Riah wont be quiet without her.. it was like she was shouting her. )

 

I contacted the breeder and she said if i'd like to bring her down then i could. So i will do that, if my dad will take me.

Sometimes giving a few drops of sugar water can perk them up a bit.

Shes a bit better today.. Dad can't take me to Pages Poultry untill friday because he works.

Will give her some mealworms and sugar water and see how she goes for now. Its almost like shes cold..Maybe a hot water bottle ..

Does her chest sound rattly? If so, you'd be better off taking her to a vet.
