Dental treatment - how much do you pay

Recommended Posts

erm I dont know, but we do a healthcare scheme thing at the vets - £47 a month to cover Labrador, 3 moggies and 2 bunnies. for that we get 'free' vaccinations, flea treatment and all kinds of health checks as and when required. then we get a 10% discount on dental work, neutering etc - basically routine things.

Our cat a few yrs ago had extractions and clean under General anaesthetic and it was about £200 I think. Insurance doesnt cover it. She is has about 3 teeth to her name and her and her brother were rescue cats are about 7 now and both have shocking nashers. In future I want to see their teeth before I adopt any more animals. Its shocking that insurance does not cover. Its not like they are going for veneers or whitening is it? Now theres a thought
