I've searched the FAQs but can't find out how to change my user name. When I entered it I didn't realise how it appears and well, frankly, it is dull. I'd like to change it to something more chickeny. Can anyone help? Hope I'm not being daft.

I think I read somewhere that it has to be done by the Mods or maybe Admin.

 

I'm sure one of them will be along shortly

If you go to User Control Panel (top left), and click on Profile/Account Settings, you should be able to change it there.

Alternatively, you can PM Barbara or Christian and ask them to do it for you.

Gosh how kind you all are. I've looked on the list and couldn't see Chickpea. How about it? That was the name of my first chook.

If you think of a username you like, click on the link and do a search to see if it is there -

Afraid that just goes to show, even the Mods don't know how it all works! Apologies, I thought you could do it yourself.

 

Keep on searching and you'll come up with something you like. How about a favourite hobby combined with the name of one of your hens - that's a common suggestion for making up a username?

I'm just getting used to internet communications and I thought that the user name was just something for logging in with, and that it would never be seen by anyone, but then I realised that it was something that you all call eachother by .

 

Haven't our moderators been forebearing? I just love this forum. It has taught me so much from how good it is to have ex hens, what breeds there are, how to look after them, how much you all do for your ex bats etc. etc. I've also spent a lot of pennies on my chooks since joining it. Hope OH doesn't notice
