Egluntyne
... at Egluntyne Towers. Him Indoors has had a rush of blood to his head and has a Christmas cake in the oven and a Christmas Pudding steaming on the hob. You want to see the state of the kitchen though. Still ... it keeps him amused.

Forestchook
The other year my brother decided to make a cake and puddings. We got a call as he and his wife were wandering around the supermarket to ask what ingredients they nedded to buy! They had to buy everything as they had nothing they needed, including bowls to cook the puddings in! (There was muttering about breaking the handle off a pyrex jug so it would fit in the pressure cooker ) It wouldn't have been so bad but his wife and inlaws don't eat either cake or puddings. Later, we had at least three phone calls about actually mixing them...

Forestchook
I'm not actually sure. I know we had some of the christmas cake. I think the puddings were sitting out the way on top their kitchen units for quite a while. N
