chickenopolis
I have a situation going on for the few weeks at work that I can't seem to get my head round. One bright afternoon, giving the hutch a good clean, chatting to our girls - I have now sorted out what I need to do at work. People don't need therapy - they just need to clean out a chicken hutch to get things in the correct order
JanTheDiver
If only! I don't get a chance to think about anything else but chickens whilst cleaning out the Cube as I have three of the girls coming to inspect my work constantly Ginger knows when I am going to take the back off as she hangs around my feet and as soon as I have taken it off she has jumped up into the nest They seem to love being in the nest from the other side rather than go up the ladder, it's as if it is forbidden territory They make me laugh every time I clean them out, but I agree with your title Chickenopolis, they are my therapy
Plum
and mine. When I am down there I switch off from all the stresses from work and am in my own chickenny world. The answers to problems at work haven't come to me yet perhaps I'm not putting enough effort into it . Hope things sort out for you.

bouldercroft
My hubby is amazed at the new me (I've had my chooks for 4 weeks)... I go outside with a mug of tea, coat, wooly hat (getting chilly in Boston) and sit with the girls for an hour or so doing nothing but watching them and the world go by. I'm a new me! Janty
I start each day with a mug of tea (chicken mug, of course) whilst sitting with my girls.
beach chick
I tend to pop out at odd times of day (the benefit of working from home) and they very often bring me inspiration - if I'm stuck with something I'm writing, 5 mins of watching the girls will do the trick. on the other hand, they are terrible time-wasters too
