Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Well it has been a beautiful morning here in sunny Broadstairs. My chucks have been sunbathing on, and in, my lawn for a couple of hours whilst I tidied up an old hebe. SO upliflting to be out in sunshine. I hope you all have nice sunny weather wherever you are. I am now off to take my daughter for riding lesson in preparation for a competition on weds.

I dont suppose any of you remember but back in August last year my daughter had eye surgery to try and improve her vision - it all went well, but tomorrow she is going back to Morefields for laser surgery to see if they can improve it even more. She would love to be able to drive like all her friends, and it would improve her confidence no end, so fingers crossed for tomorrow.

No sunshine here, though it's tried to come out once or twice. Come on sun. We've had so much rain recently would be lovely to see the sun . Glad your chooks are enjoying it. Good luck for your daughter for tomorrow, hope it all goes well and they can do more for her.

We have had a lovely day here, we had coffee and home-made choc chip cookies on the terrace and the temperature is 85 degrees (29 C ish) The winter blue sky is just a little deeper shade than our window shutters and we already have buds on the trees, spring is just around the corner The hens and dogs have all been sunbathing

we too have big blue sunny skies - BUT - there is 2 feet of snow on the ground and its -4C

its been nice and sunny, and warmer here today. I've in the garden loads more than usual today, with the girls!
