Saronne
I charge £1.25 for 6 and £2.50 for 12. Customers get mixed colours, though I had one or two people refuse the blue eggs because they thought they were 'wrong' somehow (weirdos! ). Goldstar
I charge 1 pound for six. The sizes range from large to extra large. I have 2 regular customers and a new one who I will start to supply tomorrow. When I have been driving around I have seen signs for people selling eggs with prices ranging from 60p for 6, 1 pound for 6 and 1.50 for 12. Not sure what sizes they are though. (sorry pound sign doesnt work)
Patricia W
I sell to a list of "subscribers" who have asked to have any spare ones. I charge £1.25 for 6 - irrespective of size or colour and usually mix them depending on who is laying. I have one person who only like the large brown ex-bats as she does a lot of baking and seems to think they are better. I tend to keep the dirtier ones for us and sell the clean ones. I think I'm going to have to expand my list soon once the Polands come into lay again- their pure white ones are very popular!
Tiggy
last year I sold them £1 for 6 but the price of everything has gone up so they will cost my mates £1.20 cheap at the price
lougarbard
Thank you for all your replies and advice on prices! So far I have only sold 2 dozen, but have given loads away, in the hope that they might come back and purchase the next lot!! Trouble is, a lot of my neighbours have returned the egg boxes and saved some more along the way, but mostly the extra empty returned boxes are 'Iceland' 12 for £1 or 'value' eggs, so i dont think my neighbours will be my regular buyers! But this eve, I have posted a lovely picture of a full basket of eggs on my facebook page, so maybe that will tempt some other buyers!!!
