j00lz_12366
hi i'm still at the planning stage-WIR will be done at the end of march I hope but I am trying to organise myself as much as possible. I am wondering what other people do for storing all their 'bits'? I was considering getting one of those plastic 'shed' type things you can get from B&Q etc. We dont have much space in the back but I could put one of these in the guinnel-other people on our row have done this and as we have a gated guinnel it seems safe enough. What do you do?

Redwing
I have a plastic shes, two wooden sheds, a greenhouse, the spare room, a corner of the kitchen, the car boot and a stable for all of my chicken stuff Joking apart - those plastic sheds are ideal, mine is about 3 x 2 x 6 - its not big enough to store a feed dustbin in though. Another option would be to put some shelves high up in the run and keep bits in plastic boxes on those. Feed bins are ok outside as long as they are waterproof and have a well fitting lid
Plum
Shed for me too but I do store stuff under the cube and my rake hangs in the run.
coco
All my stuff is in my greenhouse at the moment, I will be moving it back into the garage soon as I need room for plants. I keep the feed in the greenhousde all year round as it is on a concrete base so nothing can get in.
j00lz_12366
Thanks for the replies...thought we were going to be getting a free shed this week-next door neighbour is moving and told my o/h that he was going to tip it, we thought it might've been worth asking if we could take it-so he didnt have the bother but after looking at it i dont think it could stand the movement, even though it'd only be a few feet away..aah well, i'll keep my eyes peeled at b &q surplus etc
