Are they any good? Are they pricey?

We're thinking of getting one of these after seeing an advert through our door. Now we don't usually take up any offers for work/products from leaflets through the door so wanted to know if you guys have any experience of them? Who's a good company (is a local Essex company or national one a good idea?), how much is an acceptable amount to pay etc. We have a single garage that is built in under a bedroom. We don't want to convert it but were interested in cutting out the draughts that whistle through the two inch gap of our up-and-over door, which in turn should help with the bedroom above that can get a little chilly. We also thought that a roller door could save space along our garage wall and if on a remote maybe, it would be easier to access (Were thinking when returning from muddy dog walks instead of leaving the welly and paw prints through our hallway)

We have one....hubby fitted it himself,and very good it is too.

It's on a remote,so easy to access and simple to use.

Can't help with suppliers but my Dads new(ish) house has one - he loves it! Think it's a bit of a boy toy though!

I inheritated one - great till it goes wrong and then expensive to fix

I've heard a few horror stories of children getting seriously injured by them..... but I don't know if they were being misused, and were fitted safely so don't want to put you off, just thought it was worth mentioning
