I can't afford the cube and probably wouldn't have any room for it anyway so its between the classic and the go . Any opinions on which is best would be gratefully received! Roobaloo Posted February 28, 2011 Share Posted February 28, 2011 I prefer the Classic, simply because it's easier for me to access as the Go doesn't have an egg port...and I was limited on where I could put it, and didn't want to keep shuffling it round just to collect eggs! I don't have a Go but saw one in the omlet shop and don't think I would ever have one, I did not like the idea of no egg port, you have to open the whole thing, everything seems to slide out. I am sure someone will be along in a minute who has both. bouldercroft Posted March 1, 2011 Share Posted March 1, 2011 I have a Go and I wish I got the Classic - to remove the run you have to completely dis-assemble the whole GO. I regretted this very much when we were trying to disassemble it in a blizzard (yes really). It was so much of a pain (and we lost a fixing in the process) that I found somewhere who will provide chicken vacation housing rather than trying to move the GO again. No eggport either which means I need to push past the chickens to get the eggs if I get home after chicken bedtime. But, it's cheaper than the Classic - convenience has a price.... I've always thought the cube was very I find cleaning the cube a real performance, the classic always seemed quick and easy, the fact it was on the ground never bothered me. I am only little (5 foot nothing on a good day ) and I seem to almost get into the cube to get the front of it clean. The cube does not have the elegance of the classic. Maybe I should save up the extra cash and go for a classic instead. I would hate to spend all that money anyway and wish I'd bought the classic! But what colour............so many choices.
