Donna C
Hi Guys and Girls, As the title says we have cleared the garden , got spot for my veggie patch and have ordered 6x6x9 wir. I'm so excited. Does anyone have any idea's or tips on cleaning and making it fun for my two but soon to be three orps? Also i'm going to stain it before we put it together but are going to have to think of tarp or how to keep it water tight. Any ideas or tips would be great. It's costing quite a bit so we really want to get it right. I can't beleave how excited i am, like a kiddie at christmas
teacake
sounds very exciting! we're building a WIR and have bought some clear corrugated roofing, but I've read about people using tarps, I'm sure they'll tell you about them.
Space Chick
Corragated roofing would be best. I have tarp blinds on the side of mine that can be rolled up/rolled down to suit the weather conditions Inside mine for Hen-tertainment, I have broom handle perches (slotted through the mesh), free standing perches, plastic tables to jump up and down on (which gives extra "floor" space too), a rabbit run which gives an upstairs/downstairs mezzanine level (and the downstairs can be closed off for introductions), trugs and a childs sandtable for dustbaths. Yep - my lot are spoilt

Donna C
Space chick, rolled up tarp sounds great, how did u fix it to run and what do u use to keep it in place??
Plum
I did that too. I bought a big clear one and kit for making extra holes then cut to size of panels and used cup hooks to hold it on. I roll them up and secure with small bungees when wind/rain from different directions. ANH has some good pictures of how she has done hers
