My oh has allowed me to have a wir and it is due in tuesday. It's 6x6x9. However i've been looking into how to maintain it as only have a go at the moment and he has had a fit, nearly laid an egg poor thing  . I was going to use hemcore on floor with stalosan to clean and poulty sheild for house. Does anyone have any idea how much i would use and how often to change to try and work out a cost so thar oh can chill out. Also best places to order these things, i'm in midlands. Any help advice would be great.

Many thanks

Tub of stalosan about £17 and lasts a year. Poultryshield £9 lasts 6 months. Hemcore £9 and for that size run 2/3 bale lasts 2-3 months. Hope that helps not much is it

Order bedding from any local horsey supply place and pick it up. Others you can get from amazon or may pick up from your local chickenny place. :D where are you in midlands again.

For feed + Aubiose I use Hungry Horse in Sutton Coldfield, have a few bits but not massive range!

Use **Bio Dri** in my WIR - tis really good :D

Its cheaper to buy big tubs of things and they last ages. Might be an idea to go to a poultry show (The National in Nov isn't too far from you ;)) to stock up and get bargains :)
