I'm wanting to sort a WIR before the winter. I was first of all going to put the whole coop pictured above into the WIR but have had second thoughts as I'd have to enter just to get eggs etc. So I'd like to put it outside & attach with a mating panel. But what I'd really like is to have the run at the back of the coop as the pull out cleaning tray is at the front. I suppose I could make a door in the wire part at the back (but I'm not too handy) but thinking a hatch from the back of the coop cut into the back wood panel might be easier ?

I realise that most of you are Eglu owners, but I wondered if anyone had any ideas / suggestions for me.

It should be relatively easy to cut a pop hole in the mesh of the run and butt that up to the WIR, a bit like Omlet have done attaching the eglu to the Omlet WIR.

What about getting an eglu/cube run end panel so you can can have a door to shut them in the smaller coop for cleaning out the WIR and intros etc? :D

Agree with Teacake I would detach the run and fix the new wir directly to the house. :D

No changed my mind then the rain would run down the roof into the run. I think you should make a hole in the back of the house to attach it to the run then you could still enter the little door, clean the dropping tray and access the nest box. The run at the side of the house can be used for introductions.
