We are off on holiday at the end of April for a week and so are considering leaving them with a local breeder who also does chicken sitting. He's charging £1.50 per chicken per night. Reasonable ? Also, he has offered to worm them (that would be £2 per night instead) with flubuvent (sp?) as well. As we've only had them 3 weeks is this something we should consider ? I am not sure how often it needs doing but we are on hols again in June so could I wait till then & get it done ? Or is it better to do it ourselves ? Is there anything else I should ask him ? I was planning to leave them with him a couple of days earlier than our holiday, to give me a chance to give the coop a through clean & dry out before we go on hols. Chucky Mama Posted March 29, 2011 Share Posted March 29, 2011 I agree with Redwing, I would worm them yourself as doing them whilst slightly stressed by the move is not a good idea. With the price of a pot of Flubenvet it is cheaper and very easy to do them yourself, you'll have to buy a pot at some point anyway.
