What breed are these boys

Recommended Posts

The boys continue to grow fast. Ginger now has some black/bluebottlegreen feathering coming into his tail. He remains the gentlest of them, followed by Micro, who is a real feathery quiet boy...and lastly Midi, who is a bit feisty still, and has the only pair of non fake tanned legs amongst the lot! No crowing as yet, although the sounds are changing...

More pics to follow...

It is on the second frill/bumpy bit from the back of his head going towards his beak. It is like a little white nail that seems to have come out of the very tip of the wobble. His nostril bits I do know and the horn/nail thing is on his head is a similar colour!

Confusing myself with that description so try this cropped pic...

I was about to go looking for the cat being dismembered by dog/fox etc until I discovered Midi was crowing! He has been now for about 3 days and seems to be improving! No noises from the others as yet. They are in with the ladies but retiring to the gentlemen's lounge at night (aka dog crate!). Will try and take updated pics today.

They are quite funny. They staged a takeover bid for the duckhouse last night. They normally sleep in a crate known as the gentlemen's lounge, but decided the duck house looked better. I did not realise until all the ducks went into their house and promptly came straight back out again. I then heard a chook noise and thought the rebellious hen had settled in, so was a bit shocked when I pulled out a Micro chick, followed by Ging. Midi made his own way out and led his team back to the lounge

The ducks then put them selves to bed, but not before taking a look around the hut first
