kittyl
3 hatched & 1 still coming, think that'll be all. She seems very proud of them. I'm still having trouble posting pics on here from photobucket, whatever I try half of it gets chopped off ** ** I've resized it for you. - Egluntyne Edited May 20, 2011 by Guest

kittyl
Learning to feed! what lovely fluffy bums! learning to drink! This little madam turns out to be a Sablepoot Bantam, the breeder thinks the eggs got mixed up, I dont know anything about them, but its a hen
Redwing
They are all lovely The dark one isnt a Sabelpoot, they have feathered legs, I am not sure what it is though

chicken bark
They are all lovely The dark one isnt a Sabelpoot, they have feathered legs, I am not sure what it is though That was my first thought. You'll have to ask the seller again I think. It must be an autosexing breed if they are confident it is a hen.
kittyl
They are all lovely The dark one isnt a Sabelpoot, they have feathered legs, I am not sure what it is though I'm confused now, the chick is smaller than the others, I asked the breeder about them & he said the only small bantams without feathered feet that he had a trio of were these "Sablepooted Barbu Sablepoots", known as Toy Bantams. The cockerel is buff with black wingtips & tail & the hens were black with buff bits. Maybe he's got the name wrong, next week I'm going to visit the farm & I'll get a pic of the parents.
