Well, DD3's turtles...

 

Here are Mr Splashy (named after a sea turtle we met in a sanctuary on holiday), Flippers and Bingo.

DD3 is utterly delighted with them, and spent ages creating a lovely environment for them in their tank... It looks so nice I'd quite fancy a swim in there myself!

 

 

 

 

 

 

They're sweet little things, still very small, and very interactive. They're musk turtles. They can live to a ripe old age, and Indy has already told me her turtles might outlive me... nice prospect .

Any pictures of their set-up?

I'll try and get a pic for their set up... shame on me really, cause I'm supposed to be a budding professional photographer, but here is a darkish, artificially and dimly lit, and surrounded by glass set up and whatever I do the room reflects in the glass.... I'm sure no one wants to see DD3's bedroom and the messy laundry...

Will get my photographer cap on at some point and sort it out... it looks lovely really and the turtles look very happy... it has some depth of water, with chucky pebbles, and lots of wood and stone ornaments for the turtles to use, and cliff/floating platforms, and a couple of ornamental plants... think tropical swimming pool and you'd get the idea... damn dark and odd to take pictures of though... but happy turtles swimming, basking and chilling in there!
