Old Speckled Hen
Exactly 21 days on from my broody legbar sitting on five eggs we have five chicks Two will be vorwerks, two vorwerk/legbars (her own eggs) and one a vorwerk/black rock. I put 7 under her but sadly I found one chick in mum's food container four days ago and this morning although hatching had started there was a dead chick in the egg. Photos when they are not quite so new.

Old Speckled Hen
Good old Flash Enjoy the chicks Thanks Redwing. Vorwerks are renowned for firing blanks but all seven eggs were fertile, I'm jolly pleased.
