BarbaraJ
Now I'm an independent lady mostly but me and hubby have been topgether 30 years and he's only been away for 2-3 days at a time before. He's been at the Isle of Man TT this week , he left last Saturday and said he was back tomorrow. I send a text what time ish tomorrow as i miss him and getting bored as kids all out and looking forward to seeing him. He texts back after work he meant he was leaving late Sunday and going straight to work Monday then I'll see him in the evening after work, blooming men!! I could have arranged to see a friend tomorrow or something!
chickenNutter
Enjoy the break, lack of mess in the house, dirtly laundry on the floor of your bedroom, and washing up in the sink. (If he is anything like mine). Run a deep bath with lovely smelling bath stuff, put on your favourite music, glass of wine, early night and enjoy! Cinnamon
I love it when mine goes away. I can spread out in the bed, watch my stuff on TV without disapproving grunts & spend girly time with the daughters I encourage him to go Snowboarding for a week every year,& although I love him dearly (we have been married for 23 years), I look forward to it each year
The Dogmother
had a similar conversation with a friend the other day - she asked how I managed it that I only see Phil for 24 hours over Saturday night until Sunday evening, and then not every week. She's tried everything to get rid of her OH, including suggesting that he joins the army! She loves him really.

Space Chick
OH is going away on a photography course this weekend, and I'm looking forward to having the house to myself, and then next weekend I'm camping without him I think it's healthy to have separate interests and time apart
